Its not an instrument, neither are turntables.

And make it work in arrangement view.
Typically crazy 'vision' from the Abletons.
No reason why that thing couldn't be an arrangement view monster.
Other than this ridiculous concept there wil be one controller for live and it only does half a job.
:(
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

As far as I know, there is no arrabgement view on a guitar, and it still qualified as an instrument this morning when I woke up....

You mean like
Sequencing? - No linearly tracking.
Instrument? - Not genuinely made for finger drumming like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqUb3-tRs_A

The only true instruments are drum machines and groove boxes with song mode. This is widely agreed. Alesis Sr 16:instrument. Violin:half of a good idea, lost opportunity.

Don't get me started about the trumpet - hardly any buttons.

can you play notes on it? yes, then it's an instrument.

Just because you don't know how to play it, does not mean it is not an instrument.
