Input is greyed put on Midi Controls..
So today is my birthday i woke up this morning happy and then i download and install Ableton Live 9 lite then the input button is grey i cant click it to select the input but i can go on the control and the output i made my output Microsoft GS wave Synth cause that is the only one i have.. You're using an original Launchpad?
For that one, I usually install automap from the Novation website. Then I open automap. If my launchpad turns red, it means it is there. If not, I might disconnect and then reconnect the launchpad.
The problem is that the original launchpad used weird drivers. The newer models are more consistent. So having the old LP just means you'll have a fiddly experience and have to mess around sometimes.
