9.5 Simpler - reinitializes after loading new sample

I just tried about every combination I could come up with on Push 2, simpler in drum rack, simpler alone, in classic, one-shot and slice mode of the simpler, with every sub page of the simpler settings, sample window open/close, even with Shift + Browse and Select + Browse: I never got into sample swap mode, only into instrument swap mode.

Were you succesful in a beta release, Tarekith?

It can be done, but it just requires an extra mouse click as I described above. And, you have to click every time you want to load a new sample without reinitializing Simpler.

Definitely not ideal.

Couldn't this all be solved by push asking (like with the new convert button) whether you want to swap instrument or sample?

I have no programming experience, but this option doesn't seem very complicated to me (:

As said before, it would be ideal, that you could hot swap samples straight to the simpler's sample window... But... It would be perfect that samples could be browsed straight to the simpler's sample window example push's up and down arrows and you could "preview" samples through the settings and effects by hitting the pad that belongs to that sound.. A kind of autoload function..

Not addressed for over four years. What a drag, seriously. Can we please get this remedied? Something on Push 2 that allows a TRUE sample hot-swap? And not having to rely on the mouse?
