there's some blurred lines in this statement.

i gave it a quick try. over wifi with one mac and one pc running win7. it was all over the place.
not sure if the wifi is to blame, or windows, or osx but something is wrong in there.
for the ones that got it to work in sync, what was your setup ?
wired network ? mac ? windows ?

Tried this briefly today, the 2 computers didn't even find each other... is there some kind of OS or firewall setting that would prevent 2 computers running Link-enabled Live from establishing the connection?

Windows or OS X?
In Windows, the firewall is in the control panel.

I love it, I absolutely love it !
Setup without any hassle, super tight. Even when introducing glitches willingfull on one machine (CPU overload), the overall system recovers.
(Lenovo W520 and Surface Pro, on Win7 and Win8, respectively).

This is nice but do you setup a wifi network on stage in the future?
I hope it´s a milestone to real time online collaboration!

i wonder if my bad experience is not linked to the firewall installed on my windows machine (computer from work).
so if you have latencies/jitter issues look at this.

turn it off. you'll know pretty quick.
if it fixes the problem... turn the firewall back on and make an exclusion.

ah yeah. i know the drill. fortunately for me... where i work, i am the administrator.
well, fwiw... i absolutely think that a firewall could interfere with Link. it's what software firewalls are designed to do; block unusual connections to your computer.

Maybe they add the functionality to use LINK with a router. I think it´s more stable. I never trust wifi that much
