Getting Ableton to follow smpte

Hi guys,

I would like to know if it's possible to get Ableton to listen to smpte and play in sync. I have a motu micro express which reads smpte and can convert this to mtc. I know Ableton can listen to mtc but I have never tried this. What are your experiences with this. Does this work flawlessly? What are the possible problems? Hope someone can give some tips.

Have been experimenting with converting smpte to mtc and driving Ableton with this and results are promising.

Figure 53's lockstep smpte to mtc converter works like a charm.
