Back To Arrangement Button Question

Post by Asymmetricalmusic » Sun Dec 27, 2015 8:49 am

I'd love to quantize the "Back to Arrangement" button

I recently found Tom Cosm's Locator Trigger 1.0

It'd be really nice to combine the fact that launching a clip in session will change the playhead in arrangement to a select location.

if only the same clip would fire out the "back to arrangement" button with the clip qaunt set to 1 bar......

I found I can map the "Back to Arrangement" button manually

I've been working out a way to play complex arrangements and being able to "jam" in session over the top ,works great but then on re-entree I manually hit "Back to Arrangement"

but not nailing it right can cause a hick-up in the flow of MIDI.

Can I create a MIDI clip that will do this?

As "back to arrangement" is used to escape session mode, it should be quantized. I don't understand why it is not based on global quantization by default...
I've tried sending the B2A command using Clyphx as a clip end instruction but the time to switch from session view misses the begin of the measure.
I'm still searching for an alternative.
