Live VST issue

Post by Steve1973 » Sun Jan 24, 2016 8:07 pm

Hi all, noob alert.. I've set up a compact home studio and part of the gear I am using is an Arturia Minilab, and Live Lite. I'm having an issue when switching between VST instruments.

For example, I can create a bassline with one VST synth. Say I then open another plugin and put down a separate midi track of strings. If I then switch back to the first instrument that I created the bassline with, it doesn't respond to any input from the Minilab. I can see midi activity in the track indicators, but no sound.

Any ideas? Possibly something in the midi config?

Are you making sure to arm the track you wish to control and hear ?

Set the Monitor select to In instead of Auto, on your bass track.
Live 9.6 Suite / Max 7.2 / REAPER / Reaktor 6 / Win10 64bit / 4.2GHz i7 / 32GB DRAM / SSD / 828mk3 / 4 x HR824 / QX25 / HPD-15 / Sonor club kit / Mother-32 and a growing Eurorack.
