help
Hi guys ive got a pretty good drum beat made up in the note editor, but when ive went to open nexus vst my drum beat has completely vanished and nexus has opened, is this supposed to happen or have I missed something
Re: help
probably you had the drum track selected when you opened nexus so it replaced
you should be able to ctrl + z and the drums should come back
make a new midi track and then make sure it is selected blue then open nexus
i do this alot myself

you should take the time one day to make blank sets with instruments and drums and fx sends you use the most loaded already
i think it saves alot of time
Re: help
yea im gonna make time for that and to go through some tutorials,, is there a way to view my drum beat in note editor and the bass instrument im trying to insert
Re: help
no you cant see at the same time
but you can go in arrangment view though and zoom close and you see visual feedback where your notes are going compared to the drum track still and it is kind of the same just not directly in the piano roll

Re: help
Hey guys is there any way to batch install ableton alp(live pack) files or cab it only be done 1 by 1
Re: help
thischrk wrote:You can drag any number of .alp files from your OS filebrowser onto your Live window.
Ableton and Partners' packs will install automatically.
Packs from third parties will ask you where to unpack.
But to expound a little more on it... multiple packs will install back to back. so just drag and drop them all in together instead of one at a time. I believe you can select them all and then right click > open to achieve the same.
Re: help
Ah great cheers guys I didn't know I could do that, I originally thought if I double clicked a few files together id get loads of windows open and things would slow down
