Need Help for MIDI Files

Post by akka » Sat Mar 12, 2016 10:42 am

Hey
I am new with Ableton and I have some minor problems. One of them is that I can't produce two MIDI Files. When put Drum Rack on one MIDI File and Sounds on the Drum ack, I can perfectly Record, Produce a part of the beat. But when I want to create a new MIDI file and put for example a Wooble Bass on it then I can't use the Drum Rack no more.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Set midi monitoring to IN for the midi channels or press STRG/CTRL+Arm and press the ARM button on the channels you want to record / activate midi-input. Make sure ou have selected the correct midi input device for each channel.

As always, check the Live manual. It explains it very nicely.
