I am new to Live, so forgive me if this is a basic question. I've looked in the usual reference places and can't find the answer.
For a specific demo I'm doing, I'd like to have each Scene represent a 4-bar chord progression. Some of the clips within the Scene are 4-bars as well, and follow the chord progression.
When I launch the first clip in a given scene, if it's a four-bar clip, I'd like that clip to be the "master" that the other 4-bar clips follow. When I launch other 4-bar clips in that scene, they keep their place within the progression established by the first 4-bar clip that was launched--but launch immediately--kind of like muting and unmuting tracks.
Is this possible? How would I accomplish this?
launching clips on 1/8 note but keeping them on a 4-bar loop

Look into enabling legato. It means that the clips won't necessarily start at the beginning but where the last clip left off.

Yeah, I did stumble on that - and it seems to keep clips within a track together in time - but I'm not sure if it keeps clips across multiple tracks in a given scene together.
