Re: Random clip launch?
Did you set up the first clip (top clip) and the number of clips ? (it starts from zero so the first clip is actually called 0 - could change it if this bothers you)
Any messages in the max window ? (right-click on the title bar)

Re: Random clip launch?
Ok got it. Working! Fab! Thanks - as long as I set the first clip up and the correct number of clips. Excellent. Many thanks. it is a lot simpler than Gary's idea of the drum rack, which also works, but this way I can just drag into clips and don't have to have lots of simplers open.

Re: Random clip launch?
By the way, i've updated the device so if you've select a bigger range than the actual available clips, it will force to re-chose another random one instead of re-playing the same one.
But that's said, it stops you from having "stop" as a possible action. Is this something you would want ?

Re: Random clip launch?
Hi, Yes forcing another random instead of a potential repeat is nice. "Stop" not being a possible action is OK too, if I understand correctly..

Re: Random clip launch?
Sometimes requires two controller button presses to activate....any suggestions? Or is that my system?

Re: Random clip launch?
yes, mouse is always OK. Tried different midi controllers but always getting this 2 or sometimes more presses needed to trigger. If mouse is OK then maybe that points to a midi in problem in my Live config.
