Naming of files when exporting all files as stems

Hi,

when I want to export all tracks as stems I am asked to provide a file name.
I want to give the files the same names as the tracks have, without any prefix.
What I usually do is write an underscore where live asks me to name the files.
But then all my files have an underscore.
Is there any way around this?

There's not way to do this within Live. Personally I export the stems as normal, and then use the program NameChanger (osx) to strip out anything I don't need in one shot.

I know this is an old post but just want to say that I had the same problem and created a simple batch file solution (for Windows users)
If anyone would like this batch file, you can find it here: https://github.com/Justin-Lund/prefix-remover

It will remove the prefix from any .wav .aif .mp3 or .asd files
