Launchpad Pro wont work in user 1 mode
Launchpad Pro wont work in user 1 mode
So my Launchpad havent been working for a month or two now and it its making me really sad, as the launchpad is something i spend many hours on everyday. Everytime i open a new project and go into user 1 mode, nothing happens when i press the buttons. I dont know what to do.

I've just got the same thing happen to me.
All I'm getting on the tracks is aftertouch information. It appears that instead of being able to use User mode notes/CCs in live's MIDI tracks, (as it always has been) they're now just stuck as remote mapping controls.
I noticed there was a bug fix regarding LPPro on the latest Ableton update:
"Under certain circumstances, the Launchpad Pro might not initialize correctly.
Fixed a bug which prevented Max for Live devices from grabbing the Launchpad Pro matrix in the available User modes.
Fixed a bug which prevented Max for Live devices from grabbing the Launchpad matrix in the available User modes."
This might be he cause, anyone else have this issue?
I've built a a few max devices which use the User mode as a controller via MIDI track inputs. Now I've no control over any of them.

I've rolled back to v9.5 and that fixed the issue

Log on to Ableton online, go to "your account"
There's a hyperlink to "download archive"
Just download V9.5 and install it, I'm using a mac and it just asked me to replace the existing files, probably quite similar for PC I would imagine.
Don't forget to turn off automatic updates in Ableton's preferences or it'll return when you're not looking!

I only have the trial, as i cant afford the program. So i dont think it is possible for me to downgrade. Maybe ill just have to wait for a fix.
