Adjusting multiple tracks' volume in session view together

Post by giantmech » Sat Jun 25, 2016 9:41 pm

Hi -

Apologies if this has already been asked, but does anyone know how to change all of a project's track volumes simultaneously in arrangement view, while preserving the volume automation data for all of them?

Thanks for any advice.

In the future, mix with a utility on each track.
For now... Use a utility on each track.

Unfortunately there's no way to do this with the volume automation following your changes. To change multiple volumes at once though, select all the track headers in session view (select one and press CMD+A) and then lowering one fader will lower all the others by the same amount. As Jur suggested, automating the gain on the Utility plug in will let you seperate volume automation from the channel faders in the future.
