Do I not have Looper or am I looking in the wrong place?

is it just me or is my Ableton Live Lite 8 missing a lot of audio effects? specifically I am trying to find Looper. Here is a screenshot

There is a version comparison list on the site.

Looper and a few other devices are not available in Lite.

You can still loop audio clips and midi. You just can't do overdub looping like Looper offers.

oh damn for real? that's too bad. I checked the website and the comparison was between "intro" "full" and "suite." I just assumed "intro" meant "lite," and it said "intro" had looper.

You get what you pay for. How much have you paid for Lite again?

Who would buy Intro, if Lite had all the same features free with every other hardware device?

I have Ableton Live Standard 9 and i don't see Looper. i honestly didn't even know it came with it until this youtube video i watched.

like you in the first time i didn't found the LOOPER.... but this one exist in the ABLETON Intro. With little patience i've finally found him in Folder Audio Effects. Have Fun

It's available in NOW in Live 10 Intro, but the other posts are about earlier versions when it wasn't.

True, the link in my first post in this thread is the generic one for the Lite features page of whatever Live version number is current.

Lite is a marketing instrument meant for teasing you to upgrade, and I can tell first hand that it works.

Live lite 8 has loopers, and eq8. Weren't the lite, and intro version of 8 less limited aside from not having Push compatibility?

same here... 4 + free upgrade to 5.5... turned into me buying Suite 6 + heavily discounted upgrade to Suite 7. i got Live Lite 4 with a controller.
