Novation Launch control xl doesn't work at the first touch

Hi,
I use my novation launch control xl in "user mode"
I've noticed that the buttons start working only after I've press them twice...
That means that before start playing live I need to "activate" them all by pressing them once, which sucks a bit..
Anyone else has experienced it as well? Any thoughts to avoid this?

This behavior happens with lots of different midi controllers. I actually don't mind it. It gives me confidence that the controls are active and talking to each other. Like a pilot "wiggling" the ailerons pre-takeoff.

Do you mean that when you load a set the Launch Control doesn't work instantly?
At least for me it always loads the factory template by default. Then I have to press the user template button , again press the factory template button and once more user template button, and then it works. This is really annoying. I'm performing with Live and this is just extra fiddling which I wouldn't need

happens to me as well.
