Hi all,
After many years of using Cakewalk, I now switched to Ableton Live 9 (standard). I have a couple of synths and rack-devices that are connected via MIDI to Ableton. Playing and recording MIDI notes is a piece of cake. However for 2 straightforward things I really can't find an answer:
1) How can I record MIDI cc messages from the synth?? For example, when I move some buttons/knobs on my JP-8080 nothing is recorded! Same from the controls on my Yamaha synth although the MIDI notes are recorded ?
2) In the Session View I can draw MIDI control values for a MIDI clip (i.e., a MIDI track with a specified MIDI in and MIDI out... so everything is sent to the external MIDI device). However in Arrangement View, I can't draw these MIDI controllers (or at least I can't find it).
Any help or feedback is much appreciated!!
