NI Komplete Kontrol Worflow for Ableton Onboard Instruments?

Hey guys,

is there no comfortable way to use NIs Smart Play functionality (SPF) (scales and arps from the keyboard)?

AFAIK, I have to set up an empty KK VST MIDI track and set up my target MIDI track w/ Ableton instrument to arm it to the KK tracks MIDI out (since the SPF's intelligence seem to be sitting only in the software).

I can't even get the keyboard to reliably enable the smart play features when arming multiple tracks. Switching back and forth between the KK and instrument track often leads to non-responsive keyboard knobs for the SPF.

This is a bummer worflow wise. When I want to integrate it in any existing project, this leads to a click orgy with no reliable setup results.

I went for the keyboard to learn more about music theory with a light guide but is there no direct way with this keyboard?
