Where do I find the versions of the plugins in each project?

Post by Dhji » Tue Nov 15, 2016 4:55 am

Hi, I am trying to revive some old projects and some of the plugins are out of sync, and in order to sync them I need to know what version each plugin is so I may download them.

I don't think there's a way to tell this. Anytime you load a project it's going to try and load the installed version on your system, but there's no way to check before hand.

Just in case it is handy to someone else, this isn't able to tell you the version but it can tell you what VST plugins are used in your project and how many have been used:

Windows only

Simply open a Live project in it and it lists the 3rd party plugins used within the project. Good if you try and open an old project and it crashes or something and you need to know what could be the cause.
