Hello all,
I am trying to mix a house set, record it into ableton using my turntables and scratch live. While I am mixing i want to use my midi keyboard to insert audio affects while im mixing.
I have set everything up, midi mapped the affect to my keyboard, but they dont work when im playing music....
What am i doing wrong?
Kindly help if you have time..
Thank you

What do your speakers receive their audio from?

What part of the effects are mapped to your keyboard?
I would assume you want the on and off button of the effect mapped to a key is this what you are doing?

not exactly sure what you mean? .... I dropped serval effects to each audio channel ..A and B.... same effects for each channel. Midi mapped them all to my keyboard. The automation appears on the audio after but it does not work while a track is playing so i have no idea how it sounds.Emanresu0891 wrote:What part of the effects are mapped to your keyboard?

It sounds like you are hearing the mix directly from your mixer instead of 'through' Ableton Live.
A way to test this would be to play sounds in Live and play sounds from your mix as they go 'into' and through Live.
Also, make sure your monitoring is set to auto I think. Otherwise you could use On, but then you'd also need to route that into an additional channel but still essentially have the same issues.
