MOTU Ethno 2 and Live 9?
MOTU Ethno 2 and Live 9?
Anyone have experience running MOTU's Ethno Instruments 2 in Live 9 (esp. on Mac el Capitan)? I'm considering getting it but the system requirements on the MOTU page do not clarify whether it will run in this scenario
Re: MOTU Ethno 2 and Live 9?
i run it on win10 and live9 and also use the uvi-workstation to load it sometimes
but honestly
it has some nice samples and the balkan pr magrebh violine sounds not bad
but a lot of loops sounds a bit outdated (voices)
arraning drumkits with it ? mhmmmm for today standards its unhandy
if you go for eastern percussion why not ni sultan drums for example
going for voices check tarilonte or bestservice collection
in all other cases like bagpipes, flutes, zurna ect... you can get today better
sounding and more versatile instruments one by one.
just my opinion
