I watched a lynda.com course on using Maschine with Ableton.
One of the videos shows how to route the midi from Maschine into Ableton, so that you can sequence directly from ableton (and add midi/audio effects, etc).
Here's a screenshot that is copied from the video, but when I use my maschine controller, I hear music, but nothing is happening on that 2nd midi track to record ... ?!
