Signal Flow in the Effect Rack
Is there a way to change the signal flow between chains to serial instead of parellel?
Re: Signal Flow in the Effect Rack
If you duplicate the rack, then mute (or delete) alternate chains in each rack, they will be in series.
Re: Signal Flow in the Effect Rack
From the manual on 18.4 Chain List:
Note: Racks, chains and devices can be freely dragged into and out of other Racks, and even between tracks. Selecting a chain, then dragging and hovering over another Session or Arrangement View track will give that track focus; its Device View will open, allowing you to drop your chain into place.

They are good for parallel processing but they are also good for macros and tidying things up.

Re: Signal Flow in the Effect Rack
i think he was asking if there is a shortcut for it.
there's not AFAIK, but it's pretty easy to drag things around where you want them to be.
occasionally i'd like a shortcut where i can select a few effects, right-click on them and have live create an audio effects rack with the chain duplicated across two chains, or alternatively create an audio effects rack with a dry path and a wet path (latency matched). but it's not much work to do that by hand anyways.
