Ableton + Behringer Xenyx 302USB

Hi,

Think I have an issue but let's see if anyone can think of a solution.

This Behringer Xenyx 302USB is a USB audio interface. However, the mic has a direct connection to the headphone and Main mix (line out) so you always hear unprocessed mic. Not good!

I've tried working with Ableton to route sound from the input channels (mic) to the master, or master to another channel accepting all channels and that sends the output to the USB device. Nothing!

Anyone suggest anything, or a more suitable USB audio interface where the inputs are actual inputs to the PC, and not a straight-through to the output of the usb device output?

I'm loving the Behringer pre-amps so I'd suggest one of their devices.

why not an either-or solution?

disable the mic via the OS's settings. walla no more peach fuzz
