Is there a Live for iPad app?
Is there a Live for iPad app?
My intention is to connect a mini audio interface (like UR12) to the ipad, record some stuff with my guitar and mic, and then move that to Live on my Mac.
Is this something that can be accomplished right now?
Thanks!

If you just want to record things, then Garageband, Auria, or Cubasis are all great contenders. If you want session view like clip launching, then the closest thing would be Novation's Launchpad app.

Also LP-5 is a similar app. I like it better then launchpad for it's simplicity.

That's an excellent suggestion, but will I be able to then export/convert to something Live can open?

Korg Gadget can export to an Ableton Live set. Though Gadget is like a drum machine groove box and one of the best ipad apps. LP-5 could be synced with Live via Link. I import sounds into LP-5 with dropbox. Thats also how i get files into my daw(bitwig) though Live's browser can be navigated to the dropbox folder.MatuX wrote:That's an excellent suggestion, but will I be able to then export/convert to something Live can open?

LooptunesHD gets pretty close. You can record loops, browse loops online, import loops, you can launch them in a Live like manner, and you can export your sessions to Live.
