One 5/4 bar in a 4/4 verse in Session
One 5/4 bar in a 4/4 verse in Session
I've succeeded in doing so in Arrangement but haven't discovered how to in Session. When CHANGING TIME SIGNATURE is discussed in the manual, Arrangement is mentioned but Session isn't which makes me think that it isn't possible in Session. To be precise: changing all note box bars to 5/4 is possible in Session, but inserting just one bar of 5/4 in the midst of many of 4/4 seems impossible. Can anybody enlighten me about this?

The only way I know is to use Follow actions and split the clip per time signature. I don't think the change of time signature in Arrangement is done in a complete way either. It's mostly cosmetic and not at all practical.

you can change time Signature with a scene launch just like you can change tempo with a scene launch
add 3/4 into the scene name
ie
Scene whatever 104bpm 3/4
next scene 104bpm 4/4
add 3/4 into the scene name
ie
Scene whatever 104bpm 3/4
next scene 104bpm 4/4

I think I made a m4l device that allows time signature changes inside a clip using clip automation.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1
