New to Ableton and have a few questions.

Post by ag75 » Thu Apr 06, 2017 2:38 pm

I want to use Ableton to run tracks with a live band that consist of Bass, Drums, and Piano.
I need to track about 8-10 instruments per song (in Ableton) and would love to have vol control over each track, instead of mixing them all down to one track.
What equipment would I need to make this possible in a live situation and what would be the cheapest route to achieve this? Can you please tell me the exact equipment, assume I know nothing. lol.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for this. These look good. Yes I would need to Pan, I forgot about that. Would I also need an interface?

Yes sorry! Thats exactly what I need it for. Just to be another instrument. So something like Push would be best?

For launching clips containing stuff you previously composed the APC40mk2 is a good option. But if you intend to play live (keyboard or drum sounds) Push is the best option.
