These are 2 different devices. I don't get the comparison tbh.

Two different concepts. Form is not "a sampler". It's a synthesizer using samples as raw materials. not totally unlike my Z3TA+ 2 in concept, and very interesting. One comes with your DAW and the other costs 99€. Conclusion; If you got the money buy Form. It won't take way how Simpler is useful, just add to your instruments.
