Problem with the feedback when recording in Ableton live 9
Problem with the feedback when recording in Ableton live 9
Hi, I have bought the Ableton Live 9 and I have a problem. Once I arm the track I can hear the the sound that comes in from my microfon but is delayed. I am also using an interface Focusrite. How could I solve this problem?

Re: Problem with the feedback when recording in Ableton live 9
for latency issues.. as in the delay from when you make the sound to when you hear it
open preferences and go into the Audio section
You will want to make sure to get you buffer as low as possible but not so low that your CPU glitches
128 samples is generally the best unless you beatbox then you will want it to be 64 samples
this video may help to explain it more in depth

Also on the feedback, if your talking about the mic feedbacking and making uncontrollable noise
that is caused by the mic picking up what is coming out the speakers creating a loop that builds on itself
the best thing to do is use closed back / tracking headphones when recording to avoid bleed and feedback
