Live 5: how is MIDI VST support implemented?

Post by autoy » Tue Jul 05, 2005 7:43 pm

I see midi VST (Like NI vokator, orange vocoder, antares kantos and so on...) are now -at last - supported in Live 5. How does it work? Is it easy to set up?

Also: are midi-only vsts (like tobybear stuff) supported?

cheers.

We've been able to send midi to vsts like vocator since live 4, midi out from vsts is what's new, and it all seems to be working pretty well so far. You do have to use two midi tracks to use a third party midi effect though, one to host the effect the other to host the instrument it's running.
