I placed ABSYNTH5 in the track. I can see some parameters have been red and I can ma 21 of them. I need however map 7 dials on the BROWSER screen (Bightness, Bass, Resonance etc...). When I click CONFIGURE in Live device panel then click on dials in Absynth nothing happens.
NI really sucks in the way they make their stuff interacting with other software (it is not the first time I'm having this type of issues). I will definitely never buy again any NI products, but for now I have to deal with what I have.
Is there any way of mapping it properly ?

NIs mapping system sucks, only good in NIs own circle.
Reaktor, you'll have to go really deep to make a parameter assignable. Kontakt, you first make parameter assignable (easier than Reaktor) than add, 2 step process.
With Absynth i remember i did things inside, add parameter to macro, then manage to assign it. I dont remember how i added macro.
I dont bother anymore.
Now i use maschine or KK softwares macros to assign Ableton.
(Without KK hardware. some cheap products you get KK software without hardware, like komplete select. For maschine its not possible)

I tried using KK but I see no way(for example) to assign BRIGHTNESS knob. IT it very limited, but perhaps there is something I do not know. I agree NI sucks totally and I will never get anything from this company, but now I have what I have and need to deal with that.
I wonder what other ABSYNTH lke instrument could be god alternative ? I was thinking about ZEBRA-2 although Absynth has lots of 3rd part libraries and I do not see any other synth with so many.

Apple bought it. It is native synth in Logic now.
Saying that, Logic is 200 Absynth is 150$
