Any Midi editing Tricks/shortcuts for randomizing?

Post by MIAR » Mon May 15, 2017 10:13 am

Guys,

Anyone know/list some shortcuts or tips on Midi editing in ABE?

Specifically I want to change/vary large chords by randomizing each note’s start time to give a more Human feel. Lots of complex data so hoping there might be a shortcut rather than manually adjusting each one.

Cheers!

  • Grooves. Specifically look at the random function and also realize many of the MPC grooves do not repeat exactly in every bar.
  • Group Humanizer. Not the easiest to use but kinda unique results.
  • Humanizer by Denpa
Related but very different would be tools like Harpeggiator.
