Hold Pedal when recording midi clip in session view

Post by manasseh » Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:03 am

:) Hey everyone,

I'd really like to get more into session view to jam and record ideas on the fly but I am finding a small anoying issue with the ways things are recorded.
Say I'm recording a piano phrase over a 2 bar clip loop that antecipates the downbeat a little earlier and I need to sustain that chord with the pedal over the loop end bar point, so it carries over to the beggining of the clip.
Every time I do that, all the notes actually carry over and extend continously to the loop start point (if I hold them) but my sustain pedal instead gets a reset even though I pressing it over the loop point, so all the notes stop abruptly. Why doesn't live record the hold pedal correctly over a clip loop turn over (in arrangement view works it should) ? Any suggestions?

Thank You
