How do I use ableton with a Motu 828x and a Analog Mixer?

I want to send my live set through the motu 828x analog outs and into the channels of the mixer. BUT I want to know if I can control the levels and EQs of the Motu interface with the MIXER? or will it have no effect on the interface and I will only be able to effect the levels and EQs post interface?

an analog mixer cannot control a digital interface...

Ok so 1 more question...

Upon receiving you answer, I thought I could try a new way. SO, I am think of getting a A&H Xone USB Mixer and having analog outputs of the 828x go into the Xone mixer.

Can I control the motu interface with the mixer? If not... Can I control the sound coming into the Mixer?

Note: Please answer both questions.

I am trying to go out of out of the Motu 828x outs and into the USB mixer. Then have effect racks come into the mixer as well on other inputs.

Not sure why it is you want to control your Motu with your mixer.
Why not use the levels and eq's of your analog mixer?
Otherwise, if whatever settings in the Motu you want to control are accessible through MIDI, you can use a midi controller. You can obviously also use a midi controller to control FX in Live.
I think some Xone mixers also double as MIDI controllers but I don't know which model you are looking at.
