Set Default Plug-ins for New Tracks?

Post by struknes » Fri Jun 16, 2017 2:41 am

Can I set a default new track that includes certain plug-ins I intend to use on every track, such as low-pass filter?

That's a good call for new sets only, it doesn't help with creating new tracks in the current set.

If you prefer working with several templates (for sets"), theres always 5.5.4 Template Sets

You want to look at this as well: Default Presets
In the Defaults folder there's Creating Tracks with its subfolders Audio Track and Midi Track drag one of your prepopulated tracks of each type in there.

Can't you just build a track with the components you want, then drag the track header to the User Library or something like that to store that track's settings? Then, drag it into a project when you want to use it?

Hey - resurrecting this. Check 'Track Defaults' section here: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... g-defaults

Cheers
