Microtonic 2.0 is up

Post by djadonis206 » Wed Jul 06, 2005 7:40 pm

Will some one upgrade and let me know how tight it is - I'm stuck at work and Spanish class tonight so...

Says there's multiple outs and you can preview the sounds now - I love Microtonic - it's really tight

thanks

fyi - here's what the email says - I'm so bummed, but it's not like a limited release and I trust all the heads will hook this up and drop some comments on how tyte it is

Yes boys, girls and superstar DJs - it is true. Time passes quickly and the MicroTonic is celebrating a year and a half by maturing into version 2. Admittedly, version 1 did hold out for quite some time. This is actually the very first upgrade and it focuses on improving the usability of our unbeatable beatbox even further with features such as direct previewing in the file browsers, MIDI-controller support, a new "pitched" MIDI-mode, individual outputs and much, much more.

As promised, the upgrade is free for all registered users, so do not delay another second. Head over to our site at http://www.soniccharge.com to find out more and to download the upgrade.

I trust that you will find our new Tonic revitalizing and most electrific!

/ Magnus

that's really nice. The multi-out option is something I've really been waiting for - now all that's missing is a version without the bloody sequencer.

Has anyone had a chance to test drive yet - I know it'sonly been an hour but time is of the essence here :)

do you get all outs or just the 2

I'm day dreaming of running 8 outs of microtonic and processing with some serious eq and compression

I'm also day dreaming about being rich but that's another story

and what other cool things do I have to look forward to after 9pm pst tonight?

adonis, did you even *read* the specs of v2?
"There is an alternative version of the µTonic with separate outputs for each drum channel ("MicroTonicVSTMulti")."

I love the key mode. Jamming on some of those bass drums comes up with the sweetest basslines.

I love this vst even more now :) and it sits so well within live.

Just a question regarding microtonic and live:

At the moment I have both versions installed. if I were to delete the original version, would Live automatically load microtonic 2 when I load up old live files which used version one?

ey the key mode must be what he was hinting towards in an email he sent me...i told him he should design a soft synth based on the engine of micro and in the reply he was chuckling about what he had in the works for a 'future product'
