Is it at all possible to launch a scene in a way where all clips will begin at a specific point in time?
For example:
Let's say my scene has 5 clips.
I'm looking for a way to launch the scene and have all clips begin at a specific time. Let's say, the 01:30 mark, instead of the beginning.
Is this possible?

I think it is, at least if you can use beats resolution rather than time. I'm not connected to it now, but I think Push controller alternative PXT Live's Clip Mode allows for this on a per track basis and you can control up to 8 from the same layout. I haven't used that much though.nomenome wrote:Is it at all possible to launch a scene in a way where all clips will begin at a specific point in time?

Clyphx may also work out for such control, like a control clip.

PXT-Live will get you there but there is another way.
Duplicate your scene
Select all the clips.
Move the start marker to where you want it to begin (this should work for all clips if they are all selected, but check the others--you might have to do that part manually, so 5 times).
Launch your new scene.
You can even do this live while the other scene is playing.

Duplicating the scene and editing the start markers is the single way to do it out of the box, but...
So it boils down to editing all clips individually.
... this doesn't work: Once you select multiple clips in several tracks, unfortunately the sample view, start- and end markers and the start- and end boxes in the sample view disappear.JES wrote: (this should work for all clips if they are all selected, [...])

Re: Launch scene from a specific point in time for all clips?
Thanks for the correction. I always do it manually because I like starting clips in different places....
Re: Launch scene from a specific point in time for all clips?
i ask myself if the fancy m4l multiclip editor from isotonik does the job better ?
didnt get it until now - there are so many new fancy-tools on the market and half of them just sitting in the folder.
f.E. i like j74`s Progressive but its not like i using it allover, everywhere, or cthulhu...
push made a lot of things easier, so i slowed down the software collecting.
tempting would also be Liquid Notes http://www.re-compose.com/
but however, when you get used to puzzle in the atoms note by note, you also set the clip-starters manually.
