Hard to answer, because you haven't given any details of what you're doing when it "lags a lot".
How many tracks are you running? What are they (audio, MIDI, video)? Are you recording? Playing? Both?
Are you using effects/plugins? What are they? How many?

The relevant config here is also your audio buffer settings in the Live preferences and your audio interface model. You should be able to do quite a bit on your MBP, even if it's only a duocore.Wakeon wrote:Hey friends,

My config :
Your only option is going back to Live 8 anyway and I don't think it wil be immensely better. It's not like you get more power from any of the different versions of Live.
You need to read and understand this article: Latency and Delay Compensation overview. GO read it right now.

Yeah with that kind of setup you really shouldn't be having many issues unless youre running a massive project. No one has said to check your hard drive has a decent amount of space so check that?
If not you can get terabyte external hard drives pretty cheap.

For some reason he emailed me the info instead of posting it here [shrug]

These tracks are audio and MIDI tracks.
I use a lot of effects (native effects and also plugins (sylenth, massive, waves...)

OK. but there are no " lags" with any number of tracks, unless what is meant is the GUI, which is not prioritized, so this should be expected. There are only dropouts when the machine can't keep up. Latency is constant and only affected by audio buffer settings.102455 wrote:For some reason he emailed me the info instead of posting it here [shrug]
