E5-2665 Xeon + Windows 7 + Ableton 8 Suite?

I'm just preparing to pick up a Lenovo S30 desktop to replace the last two i7 pc's whose mobos I burned out. Does anyone use the configuration in the title (E5, win7, abe8) with success? I'm asking because I'm not sure if Win7 offers E5 CPU support, and how my preferred Ableton release (v8 Suite) likes both together.

I think the E5 and Win 7 go together, altough I'm not shure what version of Win 7 you need for it..... The rest is Google and find answers, and of course you can try it!
