So anyway, if ableton is focused on making the workflow faster, rather than making gadgets, I'm quite happy with that. If you compare ableton to apple, for me they going the right direction. I used to love MacOS because it was fast and intuitive, but then after snow leopard, they added a lot mainstream gadget, and lost a lot in fast intuitive shortcut, and this to implement better sync with lOS device. And it's not getting better with time, they got more and more bugs, and the specialists (youtubers, not hardcore users)start to realise it and complaint about it, so is a blowback will come at one point?

But honestly, I get your point of view, we all differents and work differently, but I think there is a lot of third party gadget out there you can buy, and some not too expensive, like Xfer Serum through splice for 10 bucks a month with their monthly plan, so keep believing in ableton, it takes time to make things happen, but at least they are listening to you, so at one point your wish will be granted, unlike Apple.
All well said, you will get my beer!
