Heya,
while at it, here's another 2 things...
---------------------------------------------------
The more general bit, and probably a big topic - since I'm restructuring a fair bit at the moment, and I'm keen to learn if there's better ways then my autodidactic approach on how to do things within Live... can anyone recommend a good/concise overview of different Library/global VS project organizational methods that work well with Live's approach to organizing its different file types & metadata ?
---------------------------------------------------
And secondly - a few very sample specific questions:
Is there any way to organize these better ? Live's default is one gigantic flat list, with hardly any useful attributes... which is probably as useless as it gets (imo) and has always been a sore spot for me and this feels like there should be grouping/metadata to help with this... or anything really, other than a gigantic flat list and a single string search...
Is there any way to go from a selected sample in Live's browser and go to:
- sample location on disc ? ( 'Show in Explorer' right click context exists but I've only ever seen it greyed out = useless)
- find/show all devices using that sample ?
Cheerio.
