Hello friends. What audio device would you choose?
I need thunderbolt.
For MOTU and Antelope I don't see so many customer reviews...
Here is the list:
https://www.thomann.de/gb/antelope_disc ... ection.htm
No power off, some complaints about drivers...
https://www.thomann.de/gb/motu_624_avb.htm
Some reviews say about noise.
https://www.thomann.de/gb/focusrite_clarett_2pre.htm
Mixed reviews.
https://www.thomann.de/gb/universal_aud ... i_solo.htm
Some say you have to install a lot of software in order to run, overpriced, no plug-n-play..
Anyone with experiences from the list above?

Only heard once in real life, I would choose the Antilope - it sounded so real,,,, It is high quality stuff with lots of options. Maybe you need to go out if possible and take some listening sessions to be shure before you part with an amount of money. Your own ears have to decide whats best for you in the end.
As said before, I would opt for the Antilope because of it's sound and the build in fx's.

Neither, get an RME: best drivers in the industry and more features in their price range, they also have a big lineup to choose from.
RME support is also great, they keep releasing drivers for interfaces with more than 15 years on the market. No other company does that.
And they one of the few that write drivers also for macOS (must other brand rely on coreaudio). Rock solid stability.
Thomann has the fireface UC for a great price and beats the others in features.

I couldn't agree more. But I think Focusrite with Thunderbolt/Firewire probably is a contender as well. I have no opinion on Antelope or UA. I don't know which MOTUs are good either these days, but they were my first on so many things.login wrote:Neither, get an RME: best drivers in the industry and more features in their price range, they also have a big lineup to choose from.
