Happy Holidays!

Post by [erm] » Sun Dec 24, 2017 12:30 am

Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone on the forums a Happy Holiday (if that's not your thing, have a Merry Monday). I know the forums have changed a lot over the years, but I'm happy that we still have so many people coming to get help, and so many people willing to provide it. There's a lot of Ableton Live knowledge here, and it's great that we have such a large group of artists freely trading ideas with each other.

Here's to more of that in the new year, especially with Live 10 dropping soon!

Thanks Erik, I hope you'll make good use of your free time and create a nice L10 Monolake theme :-)

Happy Holidays to all Members, including the excellent and stringent Admins! Great job!

Regarding the subject of Holiday presents, I just tried Wavetable and already it's clear this new offering is one of the most interesting Instruments from Ableton since a very long time and with the most interesting presets as well. I've yet to to try creating a new patch from scratch, but so far I'm somewhat impressed (very strong words coming from me). Good Job Ableton Instrument Team!

Ungh, I think I may have gotten in over my head there, much more difficult than I imagined.

If you want help let me know. I'd have done it already but I am unfamiliar with the skin.
I guess I could just get it and make a copy of it over the holidays. Or send you my notes on what the XML theme elements refer to.

Trying to use the editor, because the xml method is too time consuming for me unfortunately. :D

But that method is turning out to take forever too. Maybe I’m just impatient....
