Hello,
Is audio or midi better for band cues and count-ins? And why is it better?
Thanks for your help,
Brad
midi or audio for band/guide cues
Re: midi or audio for band/guide cues
Audio, because you can't hear midi.

I use a MIDI click live.
It's easy to modify on the fly. ie.. Add 1/8th notes, remove Accented 1st beat, etc...
And MIDI clips to trigger count ins and song cues samples. I created a drum kit with nearly every phrase I'd use during a song. ie... 1,2,3,4... Intro, Chorus, Bridge, Drums Only, Repeat, Bring it down, Ending, Again, Build it up, Break...
