interface

Post by ezramattar » Mon Jan 08, 2018 12:30 am

Hi everyone,

I'm becoming hopeless.

I have a MacbookAir, an electric guitar, and a Roland Duo Capture EX (audio interface).

I have been trying to connect these three so I can start recording the guitar on ableton, but it just won't work.

No audio , no nothing just a buzzing feedback noise..

(And I'm using a regular Pioneer headphones for audio output).

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

thanks so much

So..... what have you tried so far? Explain how you are trying to get it to work.

I have installed the drivers, i have selected the interface to be used as audio input on Mac itself and also on Ableton. The audio output is the standard mac output (for headphones).

You need to use the same interface for inputs and outputs, so you'd want to use the Roland for both to make this as easy as possible.
