Preamps on my profire610 just blew, and drivers are no longer compatible with mac's newest OS. So...time to move on!
I'm looking to invest in a new soundcard. My setup is simple - 1 microphone, and a turntable, running ableton on a macbook pro 16g memory.
Seems like the Apollo Twin is pretty good - this would be the threshhold of my budget. But, before I make a decision, I'd love to read some of your suggestions! I'm sure the apollo twin is not the be all and end all of audio interfaces.
Looking forward to reading your comments/suggestions!

Re: Audio Interface Recommendations
How have you been pre-amping the turntable so far?
In terms of simple, high quality interfaces Audient have some great boxes w/ useful functionality for the prices. Lots of simple boxes on offer all over, case of maximising quality+features you need vs price. UAD are good boxes but you're either paying for the included plugin technology and system upfront or even potentially worse getting lured into their plugin $y$tem. Careful what you wish for
