Alphatrack win10

I foolishly bought this lovely piece of obsolete hardware.
Any ideas on how to get the it to work with Live 9/10 in WIN10?
Got the driver applet installed (win7 compatibility mode), and have it in Live (mcu) mode.
The unit works but functionality on the software side is broken.
Doesnt work beyond channel 8 and many functions dont work.Sends out wrong midi messages etc.
I see some peeps here (Stromkraft) have managed to use it on mac atm afaik.
Any joy for windows users out there?
