Fuzzy Audio

Post by Finlay67 » Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:24 pm

Hi there,

New to the forum. I wonder if anyone could help me. Just got an audio interface and connected to ableton. Recording and listening to Audio was going fine until I put in the addictive drums plugin. When I record and listen to the audio it goes fuzzy after a while. Everything is connected properly. The audio is fine for a while and then sudenly goes fuzzy and distorted and i dont know what the problem is. In preferences the AI is connected and the outputs are both mono and stereo. I am a complete novice with this so any advice as to why it is making this noise would be much appreciated.

Hi, welcome here.

I'd first look at your latency setting in Live's audio preferences. Try increasing it and let us know.

It is a focusrite scarlett 2i2 and the latency is 23.2ms. It was working absolutely fine for a couple of hours and then fuzzing came back suddenly
