(SOLVED) Use 2 midi controllers to control only 1 track

Post by MThorrez » Sat Feb 17, 2018 3:07 pm

Hi there,

I'm trying to find out how I can use my lpk25 keyboard to play a vst instrument on a track AND use the nanokontrol to change parameters from that same vst instrument.
I know I can select all ins in the midi from selection box, but I have other controllers linked to other tracks as well, so I only want the nanokontrol and the lpk to control this specific track.
I can't select both in the midi from selection box, so my question is: is there some kind of a workaround for this?

Thanks a lot!

Set both of your instruments to a specific MIDI channel...like... 2.

Then on a MIDI track, select All Ins, then select Ch. 2. If I'm not mistaken, the track will listen to messages on channel 2 regardless of which instrument is sending them.
