Why does Live 10 still insist on hiding the video window?
Why does Live 10 still insist on hiding the video window?
Of all the DAWs that I use to compose, Live is the only one that has to hide the video window when the program is not in front. This is so frustrating when you're trying to audition sounds outside of Live, or working with multiple programs. Please, give Live an option to keep the video window visible instead of hiding it when you switch programs. Thanks!

Sorry, can't help you with this, but I must add that it isn't by design. This doesn't happen here, and hasn't happened in earlier versions either... I've done a lot of work to-picture in Live, also auditioning material in other software at the same time (currently in Resonic, love that thing). It would have been frustrating if this was the case
Using the Windows version, btw.

That's interesting. I'm on the Mac version. Maybe it behaves differently on Windows. This would be such a useful option if Ableton could add it.
